Hi! My name is Rushil Vashee, and I am a sophomore at Georgetown University. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, I am a big Carolina Panthers fan, writing about the team for USA TODAY’s Sports Media Group. Naturally, I strongly believe Jerricho Cotchery was robbed of a spectacular catch in Super Bowl 50.
At Georgetown, I am majoring in International Political Economy in the School of Foreign Service and minoring in Journalism. I’m also the senior sports editor at the university’s oldest and largest campus newspaper, The Hoya. When I’m not writing or watching football, I’m probably checking out a Smithsonian museum or dancing with GU Jawani!
With this site, I’ll be writing about campus culture, trends and breaking news through a variety of media, including articles, photo galleries and podcasts. Enjoy!
